Question, to correct/reduce the brightness of a model when viewed in a display.  ??  Do you apply the reduction in brightness, via the dimming curve for the model, to each sequence in the playlist, then render and save them, or can it be done globally for all sequences by simply setting the dimming curve for the model in xLights  ?

Reason, my Pixel Mega tree and Pixel Matrix are overpowering the rest of the display!

Thanks,

Terry

I have my mega tree set for 50% on all the strings in the controller so that it is a global change for everything that's sent to it.

I keep anything with a high volume of lights that are close to together at 30% ie, megatrees and such.  I they are more sparse on lights or a line like a gutter I use 50%.  If the controller you are using will do it then most folks seem to do it in the controller.  If not then you must do it in the model.  I am using both techniques, but it is much easier to do it in the controller in my book.

Set the dimming curve on the model then rerender and save all sequences.

Thank you for your suggestions,  As I not using a "controller" as such (ESPixelsticks), as Keith detailed, I will need to adjust the dimming curves at the Model level in the sequencer/sequence, which is reason I asked the question - How to apply it.  :-)
