Stopping and restarting show schedule on Raspberry Pi.
« on: December 12, 2017, 08:00:40 AM »
Is there a way on the Raspberry Pi with FPP to pause/stop a normally running scheduled show to do something like testing a specific sequence or test lights, and then restart the show so it is still running in the same scheduled time spot?

It seems like if I have to stop the scheduled playlist to do any kind of testing. I then have to manually kick off the playlist, but then have to manually stop it at the designated time since it's no longer running off of the scheduler in the FPP.

Version 2.0 will have that.
2018 will be great.

To get the playlist to automatically start when you are done with your testing do not start the playlist manually, but stop FPPD and then start FPPD.  As long as the main playlist is set to repeat and you are within the scheduled play time it will automagically restart and shut off all by itself.

Great, I'll give that a try, and also looking forward to version 2.0 (Thanks JonB256).
