Has anyone used a 4k video camera like the Sony FDR-AX700 to capture all of the colors from the rgb's??

Just curious what cameras you all have been using.

I am using a Canon EOS 7D Mark II and it does ok but not great at 30fps, 3.5 and iso100. it still can't see the yellows properly. Is your wife's iPhone a 10? I think that camera can shoot 60fps at k4.

Brad

On this video at 1:29 there is a lot of yellow and it just does not come thru.

DJI Phantom III shoot 4 k and use dlog color space.  Big key is reducing power to 20-30 percent.  More details are available if anyone is interested.

I am already at 40%
I will give 20% a shot
thanks

too late to ask Santa for a Phamton

Just read an article on the D-Log   very interesting, in theory, you should be able to reproduce the exact color, you are looking for.

Correct, I use luts to convert to my final render.  There are some free ones that are simply great.

I switched from a Nikon D300 to the phantom and was amazed. Another advantage is passing cars don’t affect my shots.
