Static Displays for RGB Elements
« on: November 11, 2014, 12:10:34 PM »
I may have asked about in a different forum a couple of years ago, but is there a way to use Xlights/Nutcraker to create static displays to RGB models.  Example: Use Bars to create a look of a mega tree look like candy corn (orange on bottom, yellow in the middle, and white on top) but not have it move.  I am trying to go away from the LOR program and use Xlights/Nutcraker exclusively.

This is very simple for a megatree. Just play a picture instead. Select movement to none and you're done.

Thanks for the idea.  I will try it out.  It would be cool to be able to set some of the effects to speed zero.

Instead of "None" in the picture effect, use "scaled".
Picture will be autoscaled to fit your display
