I ordered a Falcon F16v3 controller. I already have an outdoor enclosure, power supply, and a Raspberry Pi. I plan on starting small this year with maybe 10 arches of 50 pixels each, roof outline which is about 75' of lights needed. I figure 3 or 4 strings of 100 will probably cover it. So, what I want to know is how many strings pixel nodes can the Falcon handle per output? The furthest distance away from the controller any string will be is probably about 30'-40'. Will I need to inject power at any point? And my last question is about the Raspberry Pi. Do I install special software to run the xLights show? Is that the Falcon Pi player software? Just trying to get some definitive information. I have been reading this forum, and watching the videos but no one ever mentions this super basic stuff. Thanks yall!
