Fun with Poly Line
« on: January 22, 2018, 11:30:04 AM »
I am trying to follow the video recently posted by Ron Howard where he talked about using the Poly Line element and segments. I have created 6 segments. Then I select Indiv Start Chans. This is where I lose it. I am not sure what to put in each start channel per string. I have tried #1:1 approach, set each segment to 1 and the approach contained in my attachment. I show no warnings but when running the sequence, the colors change in a few segments. I have set all the segment colors the same so what am I missing?

Thanks

I would not do individual start channels unless you really really need it. Generally a polyline is a single string of pixels in which case you don’t need an indiv start start channel. The only reason you would need it is if you were using a null pixel and not a controller that handles them for you.

Yeah I don't see why you are using Indiv Start Channels.  I use that feature but it's because my PolyLine on my roof is actually 7 different physical strings and I'm using an old school controller that works best with a  new universe per output.
