Will a SSD improve Xlights performance

I came from LOR and having an SSD in my laptop made a huge difference in saving & retrieving sequences.  Not really having any concerns with saving or loading with Xlights. 

However, will an SSD improve rendering time by any appreciable amount?

Mostly ssd makes no difference to render. Only times it does is when you are using large videos or are very low on memory.
