Need timing mark help
« on: January 31, 2018, 10:50:10 AM »
Not sure if I am saying this right but I am looking for a way to see exactly where the playback is in my sequence.... Here is my scenario: I have two monitors and I watch the house preview on one, looking for timing of effects. If I see one I want to tweak, I stop the playback and look at my other monitor to do the change. Problem is, I am not sure which of the effects in a group is off. If I could watch the house preview and hit stop at the closest time to the effect in question and then look at the sequence screen, see the timing mark and more easily identify which one I want to tweak. Is there a setting that would leave a mark/line/etc at the place where the playback was stopped?

Thanks
Try it..... what's the worst that could happen.

Hit pause instead of stop and the position indication in the song will still be visible.

You can also hit "t" to put a timing mark in that position if you have a timing track selected rather than a model.
