Create New Model > Boscoyo > AnyModel: Insert works once/model?

I have not ruled out operator error, and am posting here in the hopes that someone can tell me the error of my ways.

Worked great the first time per the instructions I receive from the nice Boscoyo group.  I inserted a Boyosco snowflake in xlights per their instructions (using the "Create New Download" tab, but did not have time to follow through so I deleted the model from my layout till I had more time to work on it.

I came back later to insert it again using the same "Create New Download" process, but am unable to insert the same model.  When I try to insert it again, I get an error that reads:  “Failure loading custom model file.”, and OK is the only option.  That is followed by the error details “XML parsing error: 'duplicate attribute’ at line 2  16:52:01”.

Well there could be a problem in the XML so you need to specify the model name you were choosing.

I just had this same problem tonight too.  It seems that if I insert a downloaded model, it will work just fine.  However, if I try to download and insert another, it gives that error.  I found this with a 12" 2 prong chromaflake and a chromabulb 30 hanging. 

The odd thing is that the error I am getting isn't layout or sequence specific.  If I go into another layout folder, it will give the same error.  Even closing and restarting xlights does not help.  Only clearing the vendor cache will stop that error.

Go to tools menu and clear the vendor cache. That should fix it.

Just closing the loop.  I tried all of the 24" Flake models and a couple of the 16" models, and the same thing happens.  The clearing of the cache works every time though.  Many thanks.

Once I have successfully inserted the model, using 'Create New Download', I just export the model and use the Import feature for future inserts.  I am not sure if this was the intent of how it should work, but it works fine.  I guess the other choice would be to 'Create New Download > Clear Cache, and Create > Clear for subsequent inserts for the same model.

Just in case you have a need, I should have mentioned that I am using:
  - xlights version 2018.4
  - MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.3

But I am happy now, so don't go to any effort on my part.
