Really Big Lights Model
« on: February 06, 2018, 08:55:22 AM »
I am adding RBLs to my display this season.  I am planning on putting 10 of them across my garage gutter.  Each RBL will contain 8 bullet pixels that are going to be grouped as a set in my Falcon controller so they will all be the same color.  What is the best way to model this in my layout?  I tried using the Single String, 10 Nodes/String, but that will only allow me to input 1 Light/Node to give me the look I want on my layout.  My issue is with setting up the proper Start/End Channels for each RBL.

I am sure there is a better way to achieve what I want, but I am not seeing it.

I have 10 of the really big lights in my show and I use 6 Square nodes in each light and I've modeled them as a custom model.
In xlights I can sequence them as a single color or I can run multiple colors across them which looks really cool.
I think by doing it your way you might be limiting some of the possibilities.

You can define a string of 10 pixels in xLights and have the Falcon control 80 pixels using the virtual strings feature in the Falcon.
