out put question

I have a question that just showed up on my show computer. When I click the output to lights I get a pop up that says "another process seems to be outputting to the lights right now, this may not generate the result expected" I have no other program on this computer for lights. I checked my programs and deleted older version of xLights which caused issues. I lost all of my sequences and setups. I tried to retrieve them but it did not work so I have to redo all my work. Downer! I'm glad that I don't do musical sequences so it takes 2 -3 hours for a 5 min. sequence. Main thing is that popup about the other output to lights, I do not see anything that could cause it, Any help is good,  Charlie J.

I seem to get that all the time as well, I just ignore that warning.

xLights by defaults creates backups of all your stuff every time you start the program so there is really no excuse to say you lost everything.  You either changed defaults or didn't spend any time looking for the backups.

If you are getting that message with only once instance of xLights or xScheduler running then it means you had an abnormal exit of the program leaving it unable to set the flag in the registry.  Just ignore it.
