LOR CCR cabling to DMX
« on: November 16, 2014, 10:46:20 PM »
To get a CCR to work with DMX, cut the end off a Cat 5 cable and wire the other end as follows.

Brown=    Ground
Blue =      DATA +
Blue/Wt = Data -

This is NOT the wiring I'm using for an LOR CMD24, but this is working just fine with a CCR controller connected to a SanDevice E682.

I hope this helps those trying to sort this one!

It depends on the connector/controller being used

An XLR connector as well as an E682 4 pin Euro connector will be

Brown      Pin 1 Ground
Blue/Wht Pin 2 Data -
Blue         Pin 3 Data +

Don't forget that on the E682, you must configure DMX output via Jumper 22 AND the software config.
All other lighting types are configured via the software config only.
