Layer Setting Question

I watched the video on layers & Render styles, but I do not have them. When I open layer settings & click on Render style all I have is Default & Per Preview. Running 2018-13 what have I missed?

The render styles are exclusive to each model type.  Model groups will have the most options.

I see what you are saying. I was trying to get it to work on my Pixel tree as an example not to the effect applied.
