Upload Failed, but it didn't really
« on: May 26, 2018, 09:32:26 PM »
I uploaded outputs to F48 and received "Falcon Output Upload Failed" in xLights, but on the F48 strings page, the upload actually succeeded. Is this failure reported because I did not completely use all of the outputs? I only used 1-19 of the 48 outputs for this test. Outputs 20-48 are shown in red with "invalid" values so assuming that's the reason it's reporting as failed. 1-19 are all good with the correct data.

Did you upload inputs first

Did check sequence give you any errors.

Log file will tell you why it failed.

Check sequence is fine and I don't see any errors in the log (attached).

Ok ... odd error: Falcon Outputs Upload: 192.168.1.3 V2 Controller only supports one expansion board.

But you seem to be only using 19 outputs so not sure why that error was logged.

Need to look into it.

My guess is that the invalid config for ports above 19 are what's tripping it up.

Would you like me to file a bug on GitHub?

You would have to have configured a port for 33+. But I didn’t see that. I will look in the next few days.

This should be fixed in .18

Spoke too soon. It’s better but not fixed. Looks like it will be .19
