1 projector for multiple virtual matrices at the same time

Hope this is the right topic to ask this question. Sorry for any misspelling, English is not my native language.(its Dutch)

My house is made of red brick walls so even my 4000 lumen projector does not look that bright.
(red absorbs light and colors)

So I was thinking about adding some white decoration sheets on the wall in the shape of a christmas tree, santa's face, present or something like that.


I could place the projector on the ground, using a mirror to aim higher upon the wall and using "projector mapping" to map the white objects.
They idea is to project xlights effects and singing faces onto those white shapes using virtual matrices.


BUT... I only have 1 projector running of a slave Pi HDMI output.
can that 1 projector beam 3 different matrices at the same time and if so?? How??

You only need to create 1 matrix.  You place multiple items on that matrix model by creating extra layers on the sequencer grid.  The effects will blend together in different ways based on the settings you choose.  You can also use the buffer area to draw small sub-buffer regions to limit each effect to a particular region of the matrix.  Bottom line is you should only need 1 virtual matrix.
