I used a round circle or ball as I can have it not move and see what happens then.
If L=left, R=right, T=top and B=bottom
I assumed that adding a value curve to L, would only move the L coordinate, but it appears as though it moves the entire render buffer in the direction chosen to the power of the curve.
So if the centre of the effect is X (X being the centre of the render buffer), applying a curve to L, also moves X to power of the curve.
If you then go and apply a second curve to the opposite corner, R, so that you have a collapsing render buffer, xlights tries to apply both values to X resulting in a vibrating effect.
I thought it would shrink the buffer, but in fact it appears it just moves the entire buffer, to the power of the curve in the chose direction. I want it to shrink the buffer!
