Odd behavior after ramp effect
« on: August 14, 2018, 09:27:11 PM »
Hello - I am running into an odd behavior when I ramp my AC lights.  I am ramping 0 to 100% on a channel and then have a 100% on immediately following it so that it stays on.  On my existing sequences it works fine, but for some reason tonight when I create new sequences with a ramp it flashes off and on between the end of the ramp and the start of the 100% on. I can not figure out what is going on.   Any idea why this might be happening when it is working on existing sequences?  Is there a setting I may have inadvertently set?

Using Xlights version 2018.27

Check for a short "fade in" or "fade out" that crept in.

Thanks JonB256.  I realized I was not in AC mode.  The ramp works in AC mode to ramp up and stay on, but if I do it in the regular mode with a ramp 0-100 and then a 100% block immediately afterwards it will flash between the two.  Not sure why, but going into AC mode and using that toolbar fixed the issue.  I keep finding neat new things with this software every time I use it.  Great stuff!
