Convert question
« on: November 21, 2014, 07:00:47 AM »
I have just discovered that I have bad triac on one of my controllers, I want to move a different element to that channel, one that can always stay on, the question I have is when I convert my lms files can I convert a file and then just keep converting the files or do I have to save it in xlights each time. I hope you can understand what I am trying to do, it would sure speed up the convert times.

I am not sure of the question. If u had files a.lms,b.lms and c.lms. U go to convert and convert lms into Xseq. Do all three, u now have a.xseq,b.xseq and c.xseq. U don't need to go to the nutcracker tab, just convert all files first in convert tab.

Yes.  And since it remembers your source directory and choices, it makes it pretty quick.
It puts all the converted files (xseq) into the Setup directory defined in xLights first Tab.

thanks saves me a lot of time, also if you have to modify your lms sequence it makes it real simple to convert
