Master view question
« on: September 04, 2018, 06:42:17 PM »
Hey All...

Is there a way to save the order of the Master View of models?  I've tried rearranging them and saving....then when I create a new sequence and select all models to start with....Master View comes up but my models have reverted back to the previous order....  I know I'm missing something....or is it that the Master View can't be reordered and you have to create a new View grouping to be able to save the order of display models?

Thankx....

The master view is not global and cannot be selected when you create new sequences.  If you create any other view it will be available in the drop-down of the new sequence wizard.

Thanks Gil....  A little knowledge is a dangerous thing!  I definitelyqualify in the little knowledge category!   ;D

I guess the trick is to create a view and select it when I want that particular lineup....

I keep toying with the idea of changing the "Master View" name to something else that might help make it obvious its not global.  Or we just switch things so that all models are always included in a sequence by default and then the master view truly is global.

That makes a lot of sense....  Intuitive is always a good thing for end users.

BTW....I really appreciate you fielding my basic questions....  I learn a little more every time.... I'm far from being an advanced user but I'm feeling more comfortable all the time.
