If you are using a serial adapter to run your universe 1 then it should be the com port your computer sees it as. Items attached to such dongles know nothing about universe numbers ... as they only ever expect to see one universe.
E1.31 on the other hand is a network protocol that supports lots of universes but that is a different connection entirely.
You can have multiple dongles and run multiple serial universes if you like.
