« on: November 05, 2018, 04:48:23 PM »

One pixel is on all the time in red color. Is this a case of bad pixel. Thanks

Is it the last pixel in the string?  One possibility would be to slightly drop the voltage (11.9V), assuming you're using 12V strips.

I am injecting power at the end of the string  so this is the second pixel from the end. The first one from the end where the power is being injected does not light up. Thanks

Not sure how to do that. I don’t have resistors. Thanks

Test all green, all red, all blue. Perhaps the pixel does indeed have a bad RGB piece. I know I did and that proved it to me. Cut and splice a new pixel in there and all is good...

Many power supplies have a voltage-adjustment screw.

Thanks you . will test the pixels. My power supply does not have an adjustment screw.

also can turn the brightness way down to reduce the power required -- to see if it is power related.

Thanks for the help. I swapped out the pixel and it works fine now.
