Linux Vamp
« on: November 07, 2018, 11:25:14 AM »
Hi all, Linux novice, been playing with xlights for a few days.
I am at a loss trying to get Queen Mary vamp working.
Found instructions at https://www.vamp-plugins.org/download.html
Downloaded tar and tried adding to said folders and also tried extracting first.
What am I missing?

Tools. View log in xlights. Search for vamp. It will tell you where it is looking for it.

I looked through the log and couldn't find vamp. Maybe I didn't tell it to look for it? Thanks

I found
Log4CPP config read from /usr/share/xLights/xlights.linux.properties.
Should I put it in there? Extracted or no?
