Xscheduler issue
« on: November 14, 2018, 07:56:15 PM »
This is my first go at using xlights and x xschedule.  I have sequences and models that work in xlights, i have my lor controllers  first in setup followed by my dmx channels for my pixel tree and star. The first 144 channels are connected using the lor usb 485b dongle. If i play a sequence in xlights and have the lights on switched on the lor controllers all work as expected and lights cime on. When i go to  x schedule my contollers are all green, and i check my schedule for errors and there are none, but when i set up a playlist and then test it with the lights on bulb and schedule enabled, no lights work in the lor controllers . Any ideas on how to figure out the issue. When i check the log of xschedule, it says lor optimised output: sent 0 bytes and also see frame interval greater than 200% of what it should have been[50]

I can see data being sent:

2018-11-15 15:19:52,390 12676 log_base [DEBUG]     LOROptimisedOutput: Sent 330 bytes
2018-11-15 15:19:52,436 12676 log_base [DEBUG]     LOROptimisedOutput: Sent 20 bytes
2018-11-15 15:19:52,488 12676 log_base [DEBUG]     LOROptimisedOutput: Sent 0 bytes

But after that it is continually zero bytes.

Does this sequence contain any data on the LOR channels?

Maybe set up an advanced playlist with a test item and generate some data that way to see if it is at least sending data.

Right click on playlists ... add advanced playlist. Right click on steps add a playlist test item. Configure it to output to all the channels in your show.

It was covered in the recent advanced xSchedule video : http://videos.xlights.org/advanced-xschedule_99df5b2cf.html

So i deleted all my playlists to start clean, made an all lights on animation sequence in xlights, went to xschedule and made a playlist with just that in it and played it. My e131 tree and star came on, but no LOR channels came on. I tested my lor controllers through LOR and all the lights come on, I have attached the log
