Matrix Suggestions
« on: November 17, 2018, 05:56:16 AM »
I am planning to add a matrix in 2019 for my tune to sign wondering what everyone uses? I have looked at P10 panels & also Boscoyo Chroma Mesh 1" & 2". The sign will be 22" tall & 46" long about 40' from the road.
Thanks Mike

If your have nothing consider using P5 panels.  A little more money but a big jump in resolution.  You will be glad you did.  I'll bet CFOL will have them in their 2019 presale.  I have both P10 and P5 and would not buy P10 anymore.

I used smart/pixel rgb lights to form a outline for 89.7 fm on a peice of coro and this worked out well and does not use much to run it.

For a sign that is 40 feet away from viewing p10 panels would be fine, here is a howto done by ryanschristmaslights in South Australia.
i have same power source etc but only 2x1 p10, but double sided so people can see from either direction, works fine, only require to recharge battery every 4 th day

hope this helps cheers Boof63
