Is this forum slow?
« on: January 16, 2014, 08:11:52 PM »
I read a lot of Christmas forums, but it seems to me that this one is very slow to respond.  Am I the only one that has noticed this?

it is slower than other forums i am on.

i have a shared service with hostmonster.

server looks to be an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU           E5420  8 @ 2.50GHz

we are running at 70-80% load on the box. I think they put like 250 accounts on each server.

top - 21:21:21 up 87 days, 14:53,  2 users,  load average: 35.52, 40.35, 46.60
Tasks:   3 total,   1 running,   2 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie
Cpu(s): 45.3%us, 17.1%sy,  0.0%ni, 25.3%id, 10.9%wa,  0.0%hi,  1.4%si,  0.0%st

i am not allowed to see processes from the other users, so i cant tell who is creating load. it is not us.

we will have to live with it being slower as i do not plan on paying for a dedicated server.

I tried to come up with a response... but I'm speechless.
