I plan to update my Arches this year from 8 segment Dumb RGB arches to Boscoyo 3 Ring Pixel Arches.  My plan was to set up submodels to simulate the current 8 segments.  Is there a way for me to have the new arches receive the commands that were programmed for the old arches?

Sure. Create your submodels.
Add a group
Put your submodels in the group
Use the per model as a pixel render style
Import your bold effects onto the group
