Multcolored Model
« on: March 05, 2019, 06:22:41 PM »
So how would you (sort of accurately) model a bush filled with multi-colored lights, such as the regular cheap multicolor LED strings from Walmart?  (Which typically are in 5 colors such as Red, Orn, Yel, Grn, Blu or Red, Orn, Grn, Blu, Vio, or all 6 colors)

The simple way - just make one model and make it white and realize that they are going to be different colors when they are actually on.

The complicated way - make a separate model for each color on the string, and make them just slightly misaligned from one another so that when on, you can see all the different colors.  Then make the start channel for all of them the same, since they will always light up at the same time.

Yeah I always made them magenta that way when they lit up I would recognise them as multicoloured.
