Safari downloads xlights.org instead of opening- Mac High Sierra

I am guessing my issue is with my machine and does not reflect a change to xLights web site.
When I click on the link or type in xLights.org it downloads the page instead of opening. Google search found one page were others have had similar issues in the past. The fix detailed did not help.
Has anyone been through this and found a solution?

I had that problem yesterday, but seems to be fine today.

Working for me today too, yesterday not so much.  I did find that I could navigate the site as along as I didn't go to the home page where there were issues.

Here's what Sean posted on Facebook last night...

hostmonster cleared their server cache and the www.xlights.org web site should be up for all. if you do have an issue try clearing your cache in the broser. please post if you still cant access xlights.org after clearing your cache.

I had the machine shut down for several hours today, cleared the cache, deleted history and restarted. It seems to be working now.
