Future RDM and E1.33 support
« on: March 26, 2019, 10:33:52 PM »
Are there any plans for RDM and E1.33 support in the future?  I am asking for both Xlights and controllers.  If so, when?

What are you looking for it to do for you. I looked at the protocol and there isnt much there that looks useful.

The ability to query what is on the network and to find out what lights are connected as it is a two-way protocol.  That would seem to be a big plus.

I need more information. If it’s a feature you want then you need to invest some effort in explaining what it is you think it is going to do in a typical setup.

I looked at the protocol and saw nothing interesting so what messages have you all excited.

In addition, is there any hardware that we use that supports any of it?  There is no point investing any time in implementing a protocol that no hardware that any of uses actually supports.
