Can I use the Lightorama Hardware with Xlights?

Hello, new user, after using lightorama and purchasing a 16 ribbon CCR tree, I find that I am wanting to switch over to Xlights. Can I still use the hardware and the CCR ribbons with X-Lights? I want to run the Xlights with the lightorama stuff and build my own stuff. I apologize if I missed a thread that talks about this. I just want to know if I need to sell my LOR stuff or if I can incorporate it into the xlight builds.

It depends on the controllers. Most work fine but you may run into lag issues with the pixies if you are running too many channels.

I ran several CCRs for a few years using xLights.  I recommend using the Hardware Manager to change them to DMX mode.  Its been so long I forget exactly what they call that but it makes it so they run on a normal DMX line only using 150 channels instead of 157 channels that contain the extra LOR macro channels.
