Name and group colors in the color selector
« on: April 12, 2019, 04:08:35 PM »
I use a lot of different pallets in my sequencing. I would like to see a way to group and/or name the pallets and perhaps list those names alphabetically.

One more if I may. I would like to have the ability to divide timing tracks (maybe even multiple tracks) into a number (1-10) of my choice.

You can name palettes but you can only see it in a tooltip. I don’t see us adding more.

I don’t understand the second request.

Trying not to be too stupid but what’s a tooltip and how to I go about naming a pallete?

Re second request. After rethinking this timing thing it’s not necessary. But thanks anyway. It was something I could do in LOR S4.

A tooltip is the text that appears when you hover over each palette in the dropdown. Find the one you want to name. Hover over it. Read it’s current name. Find the file in palettes folder in your show directory and rename the file. You may have to restart xlights to pick up the new name.
