Cannot edit note labels by double-clicking

I have been trying to use the "piano" effect (which is a great idea) on a matrix after having watched Keith's video "Piano timing track notes source in xLights 2016.21" and reading Boof63's document from 2017 (thanks guys!). However, after doing the polyphonic transcription on a musical sequence and then importing the notes, I cannot edit the note labels by double-clicking as shown in the video and instructed in the document. Instead, xLights plays that note segment when I double-click. Does anyone know if something changed in the past 2 years in regards to editing note labels, or what I might be doing wrong?

Use the shift key while double-clicking to edit.
Or you could go into your settings and change the timing DClick mode.
