Layering - 2 is unmask - shows white instead of black....
« on: October 24, 2019, 08:41:35 PM »
I place a fan effect on layer 1, on layer 2 I put a on effect fading from 100 to 0.  I mark layer 1 as '2 is unmask' so the fan effect fades out.  But if I don't make the thickness 100, everywhere there isn't a fan effect it shows white.

I found this bug fix in version 2018.19 - Fix unmask blend style so it doesnt turn black areas white

But I've never gotten it to work.  I've tried "2 is true unmask", but it doesn't fade at all.  I know I can use out transitions to do the fades, but I use hundreds of fades of all various lengths in my sequencing and I already have all the ramps in place (brought over from LOR).  I'm forced to make everything 100 (fan, spiral, etc).  I'd really like to have the black in place that normally shows up for the effect by itself when using the 2 is unmask.
