Hello everyone!
I’m new here, but learning more all the time. My setup includes the Falcon F16 V3 and the most recent image on my Raspberry Pi running falcon player. When I have all my hardware(controller box/pi etc.) indoors close to my router, the Pi grabs the IP address right away.once I enter the IP address for the falcon it comes up fine and I can access all the settings/status pages and can operate my lights.
I’ve got my Cat5 cable from the router to a. Network switch, another cable from the pi to the switch and another from the switch to the Falcon.
I set up the FPP for wireless and my show network separate IP addresses (192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx and the falcon is on 192.168.1.xxx when move everything to the front of the house, run a extra long Cable from the router to the switch as normal, I bring up the FPP page and falcon, everything works, until I go to change the settings on the falcon or the FPP. I keep getting a message in my browser saying “ We’re unable to find that page”
Once I reload the falcon/FPP page they come back. I’ve read where people have had weird issues with the Raspberry pi and low voltage from the power supplies(phone charger) could this be why my FPP/Falcon keep dropping out? I tried another phone charger last night just to see if there was any change, well in the middle of rigging up my equipment last night it started raining so haven’t verified that as of yet.
Let me know if there is anything I should be doing different, I can post my settings (screen shots) to help troubleshoot later this evening.
Thanks in advance!
