String not fully lighting up
« on: November 18, 2019, 09:09:53 AM »
I have a string of 112 C9 pixels from holidaycoro (50+50+12).  When I run my sequence the string will not light up. If  take the 12 off the other 100 will light normal. If I take the 100 out the 12 will light normal.  I have the model defined as 1 string 112 pixels. Will these not work if over 100 pixels?

Its the setup in the controller that would define how many pixels its driving.

I have the pixel count set to 112 in the output settings.

I sent a message to holidaycoro but haven't heard back yet

Have you tried swapping the 50 count strings?  Maybe the output of the last pixel or wiring is messed up so it can't drive the next string.  If so swapping the 50's should make only 50 work.

it's not an easy swap... they are on a 30' peak on my house.  i tested the lights before i had they hung and they worked... but i tested the strings individually not connected together.  i have another string i am going to connect to the other end and if it works i will have the guys come back and rehang them.
