dimming on import
« on: November 18, 2019, 06:01:31 PM »
I am importing my LOR sequences so i can add my xlights sequences to them. In SE, i have all my RGB dumb node effects at 60%, when i import the sequence, does it stay at 60%? When i look at an effect it shows 100% intensity in xlights. if they are not staying at 60%, is there a way to lower the intensity of the netire model or do i have to lower each effect individually?

Either will work, but in model definitions is *much* easier.  In the layout tab, select a model.  Look down the list of attributes and find Dimming Curves.  Here you can adjust a brightness and/or contrast.  This will need to be done with every individual model.

So the brightness is set at 0, i can go negative or positive. What way do i go to set that model at only 60%

Brightness would go negative.  Eyeing it up on the monitor, it appears as if -40 give you a line that would be at about 60% of full brightness, so this makes sense that -40 would be 60%.
