xSchedule-64 Scheduled time stays at default ?
« on: November 29, 2019, 08:15:37 AM »
Sorry if this has been asked before, I am running xSchedule 2019-64 and when setting the show start/finish times, regardless of the times I set, "20.30 - 23.59",   it defaults to "start 19.00, end 22.00",  Whereas I have an audio playlist setup for 30 mins before the show starts, and that has happily accepted the 20.00, 20.30 times I set.  What have I done wrong  ??  it worked perfectly last year.

Another issue, I have a batch file, triggered by a run process, associated with every sequence in the show, most work perfectly, but two refuse to fire/trigger the appropriate batch file. As far as I can see the syntax is fine, the batchfiles exist in the xLights root, and the show folders. Is the "run process"  option the correct step to use to get the scheduler to  trigger batchfiles  ??  I am somewhat stumped as it worked perfectly last year, once I peppered the appropriate folders with the required batchfiles and their contents.  This is to run an "old" two panel Ledtrix to "talk to the public" without saying anything  :-)

Any help gratefully accepted,  Terry.

Managed to get the scheduler time setting organised, but getting the process step to run a batchfile still will not work in two cases.

Bigger issues though massive delay on the Renard data when using Scheduler - see other thread!!

When I get home I will jump into the zoom room. I realis everyone is stressed right now but if I don’t take my wife to see her mum in intensive care I will be there as well.

Fair comment, life comes before hobbies, I trust all is well, I will wait an hour or so.

Cheers,

The trick seemed to be to rapidly save the setting once the schedulling page was exited, and check to see if it has "stuck". Then do the next setting, and in my case the way I inputted the time seemed to have a bearing on it, I wanted to close after midnight and it eventually accepted "00:08" happily, and save again as before.

My $0.02 worth,

Terry

MY Mistake ( as usual) was trying to save time slots using a full stop (. ) not using the colon ( : )
So thanks Tory Street lights for reply, as your "00:08" example  gave me my lightbulb moment
or more of  Homer " DOH " moment,
cheers and thanks again
