loaded sequence is not the sequence playing

Several times now I have tried to save a sequence in xLights and then upload it to FPP, only to find that it is not the sequence I saved in xLights!  Probably 5 times now I have shut everything down, saved the sequence as another file, deleted all files from FPP file manager, then uploaded the new fseq file, deleted all playlists, then added a new playlist, then added the sequence to it.  When I play the new playlist from FPP, it is some other file with similar but completely different sequence!!  And it doesn't seem to output correctly.  I don't know what's going on.  All the channel definitions have been the same, I am just getting a completely different sequence uploaded when I try to play it!

Any ideas???? :o

I determined that the file on FPP is likely correct (several files were similar), but the controllers are getting incorrect channel data, even though the outputs channel list is the SAME as the channel list in xLights.  Same channels, same universe numbers, but the FPP output is wrong for the last 3 of 6 controllers. 

Does anyone know what I can check?

Why do your universes on the FPP go 1,2,3,4,6,8 ?
