3-axis skull
« on: June 26, 2020, 08:30:28 AM »
As I'm learning how to set up the 3-axis skull there's a few things that aren't working as expected.
Made a copy of my show directory to play around and I set my 3 access skull up as a shadow model to the custom model I had to run my skulls and tweaked things until I had the movement closely matching the actual skull.
Then I took the next step and did a replace a model with this model and opened a sequence and had everything working until I did a renter all.
My sequences were built with on effects ramping up and down to give me the movement and when brought into the strand for the 3-axis skull they don't function even though they're all set to White and the Strand is showing the white box to the right of the strand name.
The other thing I noticed is I was attempting to play with the pivot offsets and I don't seem to be able to get any change while entering a value.

Sorry I got no guesses.  I can't really follow what your doing with the replace model thing.  For the pivot point it shouldn't need to move its already tuned to the right spots for that skull model.  And I wouldn't type in numbers I would use the arrows because it might need a bigger step size than you think.  I tuned it to work with the model scaling I was using so its possible you have different scaling on the model affecting things.  But for me just reading this paragraph is like trying to fix a car when its across the country in your garage.

Look at this.
And the replace model with this model is a right-click option in the layout tab to exchange models.

Same Sequence with shadow models.
