Missing links in Forum Posts

So I am a Newbie - hoping to set up my first show for Christmas.  I have about 7000 Nodes here or on their way - Have Faclcon controllers and smart boards, power supplies and a lot of Boscoyo stuff too. 

As I have been searching through the forums I am seeing a lot of links either deleted by Admin or I get a 404 Error.  Is this a setting on my PC or are the links truly gone?

Thanks - y'all are amazing.  I love hobbies that have forums for this reason.  On a Plus - I got my Boscoyo order yesterday and 4000 pixels came in today.  Love Ray Wu - now for the rest to arrive.
