Automatic updates

Hi guys
I have noticed that when xlights starts up it no longer asks me if I want to update if there is a new version, which apparently there is.  I am using win7 but it is 64bit.

I've noticed the same. 
If I remember correctly, it also doesn't tell you there is a new version out there, even if you manually ask it to check. (I'm already up to .29, so can't verify this at this time.)

Windows 10.
Try to keep xLights up to the latest version.

Known bug .. have to go to xlights.org and check/download there.

that is correct, when you go to check for updates, it says there are no new updates available.  however, I am using ver 24 and I think there is 29 now.

I don't want to upgrade to windows 10 if possible or especially now.

update.
did a manual update by dl the file from xlights site and installed it.  no issues.
