Matrix and Tree
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:34:44 PM »
I have a problem with the matrix and tree models.

I'm using Falcon F16V3.    Using xLights to deploy settings.

I don't have an actual matrix or tree prop built, i'm testing with lose strands of lights.  On or off.

The controller shows data on all the correct channels depending on the test.

When I draw a star or arch or flake and then go through the visualizer and put it on any port my test strand of lights will turn on.  I don't have this problem with any other models.

When I draw a matrix, drag it in the visualizer to port 1, it visually puts it on the correct number of ports (1-22), but after deploying only port 1 will light up.  If i put the test strand of lights on ports 2-22, they will not light up.

The same issue with a Tree model.

I know that isn't a lot of detail, but I wanted to get a thread started.

Thanks!

You have the right guy helping you in the Falcon Christmas forum.  I would not recommend you start another thread for the same problem.  Poporacer is the author of the FPP manual and extremely knowledgable.

Yes clearly he is.  And I will continue to take his advise. But it doesn't hurt to look at a problem from a different perspective.  I believe its a xLights configuration model problem more than a FPP configuration problem and I'm sure some smart folks on this forum may have some advise.

I really don?t understand why people bring config issues to forums when they could dial into zoom and get it fixed immediately.
