Single Strand Effect with Fade in and Fade out
« on: August 23, 2020, 06:17:37 PM »
The present Single strand effect works really good for what is does, including bounce, skips, etc.  I was looking for a single strand effect that fades in and out, say, a string of 15 pixels moving across the house outline (eaves), where the first 5 pixels are a ramp from 0 to 100 intensity, the next 5 pixels are full intensity, and then the last 5 pixels are a ramp down from 100 to 0 intensity.  You should be able to pick the chase size, the number to ramp up, the number to ramp down, as well as the number of cycles and chase type.
I realize I am asking a lot, but it would be a nice effect.
I would use this on top of an on effect of a different color(not at full intensity).
Thanks

You could do this by creating groups for however many pixels you want for each.

This is for a single strand of lights.  I don't think you understood what I was asking.

Or just use a picture if it all gets too hard.
