New rendering feature?
« on: September 09, 2020, 09:34:56 AM »
In 2020.35 was there an update to rendering and maybe I missed a setting? Prior to .35 it was rendering in close to real-time. Now I have to hit the render button every time I want to see changes.

I read the Read Me file, and didn't see anything new, but am I missing a setting now?

Just a note, I ran Tools-> Check Sequence and got this in my file:
WARN: Rendering is currently suspended. The FSEQ data may not be up to date.

I went into my sequence settings (which I haven't changed in some time) and I do have Save FSEQ On Save checked, and have it selected as V2 ZSTD (Default) which I know I haven't changed that.

Look at the lower left of your sequence tab and you'll find a little box that says suspend render.
Uncheck that box.

You have three tabs to work from, controllers, layout and sequencer.
When you're in the sequencer tab look at the very lower left corner.

Thank you, sorry I over-thought through that thinking it was in the Preferences. I can't believe I missed that down there.
