Need help with latout problem
« on: September 16, 2020, 04:26:46 PM »
i've been serching but cannot find a answer i have a large tree it's controlled by LOR CMB24D controllers. it has dumb rgb strips with 3 rgb inputs per strip. 8 strips. every time I try to create something in xlights it makes it ws2811 and won't let me change the protocol. my house is outlined with the same strips. There is three rgb inputs per strip because every 3 nodes is connected together instead of every one. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You need to change the string type in the string properties.

Thank you for the string property's I guess I didn't see that one I changed the string property's and I can layer 3 strings to get what I need. But it still won't let me change the protocol from ws2811 to LOR?

They are currently on the LOR usb dongle. i could hook them up through my F48 falcon controller but I wasn't sure how to set it up that way.

If it?s on a dongle you don?t need to set controller connection properties on the model.

Just add the usd output on the controller tab and set the protocol there.
