Timings not correct from a LOR .LMS file convert

Hey all,

I created a new musical sequence in LoR, sequenced my AC channels and then wanted to convert that file to xlights so that I can add my RGB effects using the same timings... but when I convert my .LMS seq into xLights, I get a WHOLE ton of extra timings, where as in my original "beat tapped" timing grid, there's a lot less...

Any ideas?

if you are using teh second option of open, that doesnt work very well. the logic used creates way too many timing marks.

i think if you just make a file in notepad. 3 columns in size, separated by a tab..
The columns are
Start_Time    End_Time    Label

So if i had an effect at 2 seconds and 5 seconds

2   2    anything_label
5   5    second_aynthing

Save this file and use teh 3rd open option, create a file from a sound file. Specify that you have an audacity timing file (A 3 column file).

I think I found out what was going on...

Instead of creating a timing entry in XL/NC for JUST every tap I did, it created a timing mark for every tap AND for every effect I had already put in...

So my next thing to try is to just create the tap track FIRST, import into XL/NC to get the timing marks in, then go back and do my LOR sequencing and then CONVERT to then add the RGB effects....
