"Alternate Nodes" in the Spinner Model?
« on: November 13, 2020, 11:47:45 AM »
In the Candy Cane model, there is a choice to "Alternate Nodes" so that the last pixel is back at the bottom.

I'd like to use the Spinner Model (it makes a very nice Fan if you set it for 180degrees) but I want to alternate the pixels (8 up, 7 down).  20 fan lines, 15 pixels per line.

But that choice isn't there. For now, I am just using a custom matrix, or I could use the Candy Cane model and just tell it to be "straight" but it isn't "fanned out" like a spinner so it won't render quite the way I want.

Can that be added easily to the Spinner model??

I am pretty sure alternate is on the spinner model.

I did go back to look. The "Alternate" choice is in the Starting Location drop down list.

The Node Layout view was confusing since it put Node 1 at the top.

BUT

when I look at the Wiring diagram, "Center Alternate Clockwise" is a PERFECT match to my wiring.

This is 1 string, 20 Arms, 15 Lights per arm with a start angle of 270.
This will fit inside my older "leaping" Arches.
