Getting the effect to not restart on next timing mark....
« on: December 14, 2014, 11:18:07 AM »
I know that this has probably been discussed before, but I have two models that I'm currently working with, my house eaves and windows and then my matrix.

My problem is that I have timing marks for my matrix because I'm changing the text that is scrolling and every new timing mark restarts the effect that I have currently playing on my other model. Is there a way around this or am I missing something simple?

If you have a Fade defined, it will have to restart.

If you are trying for two different timing marks I don't think you can do that.  To have an effect continue thru the next timing you should have that entry in the grid be blank, as in nothing there.  Off and none will not do it.

Yup. It was the fade in that was causing the restart.

Is this a desired effect or is this something that might be tweaked in the next major revision?

Thanks!

The next major version will have a new interface. Time will tell.

I stumbled on this the other day and I kinda liked it.  You can get a nice pulsing effect by only populating and effect in one cell and if you don't want it to do that then just remove the fade and copy the effect to the last cell and then add the fade there.  The way it stand leaves a lot of options.
