Adding beats per minute to a timing track
« on: November 18, 2020, 01:59:07 AM »
Hello all
I saw in a video from the VCS series (the one Tom) did and he was able to add bears per minute (bpm) to a timing track. However when i go into the same timing track as he did i don't have this option.  I do have queen Mary plugin installed and have looked through all the timing tracks available but no where does it allow me to add bpm.  Is this in a different version of xlights itself because I haven't updated in about a month or is there another plugin I am missing.
Thanks guys and girls
Hi Jim hope all is well 😊

I have not seen Toms presentation so I am not sure but i do know nothing recently has changed. I also cant imagine what a BPM timing track is. Sure you can show the beats and/or notes onsets but counting them and working out the BPM is not in the software and I am also not sure what use it would be to know it.

Thanks for the reply Keith.
Just for your information the video was from the VCS on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxt4UJz2n0E&t=2399s at 34:09min into it.
