Snow Flakes issues
« on: November 27, 2020, 05:04:45 PM »
Hello, I am runing on 2020.49

I have a LedStrip with 30 ws2812b per strip, 5 strips a 1m each with esp controller via WLed.

The Snow Flakes effect does not work like expected. Falling is falling from outside to inside of the nodes and  Falling & Accumulate does not work at all. Only some flakes pop up randomly, not falling.

Thank you and best regards from Germany

If you want someone to look at this create a sample and use tools package sequence and post the resulting zip file here.

Only for your first few I believe. You need to build some credibility :)

Yeah ... that is not going to work with that effect ... snowflakes struggle to accumulate if there isnt a ground to accumulate on and 3 strings do not make that.

Hmm thank you.
I thought it would work per string and sum up till it is full.
What do you mean with 'a ground'. Would a matrix with 5x30 nodes do it.? Then I have to re-arrange the setup to one controller per 5 strings.?

Thanks a lot for any suggestion

It would be more likely to work.
